For Summer and Brayden, Trossachs Gospel Camp held a special place in both of their hearts. It was there that they had met in the summer of 2016.
For both of them, getting married at the camp was an easy decision, as it was the place that brought them back to the beginning of their relationship.
While getting ready in their private cabin, Summer surprised her bridesmaids with a swag bag full of gifts. When the ladies thought that was all, the bride surprised them again with matching gold satin robes personalized with each bridesmaid’s first initial.
The ceremony took place in the camp Tabernacle – a huge, old, beautiful, barn-style building.
A trio of musicians (the groom’s uncle and cousins) greeted guests as they found their seats amongst the pews.
The bridal party gracefully entered the ceremony venue, followed by Summer and her mother, who presented her to Brayden. The couple participated in a sand ceremony after stating their vows to each other. Before the officiant released the couple, the bridal party and family members prayed over the couple and their new marriage.
For the reception, Brayden and Summer turned the Mess Hall into a beautiful dining oasis with gold and red accents. Supper was a buffet-style wedding feast, catered by Arturo Estrella, complete with sushi and a meticulously carved watermelon with the bride and groom’s image.
